A friend passed this along and I thought it only appropriate now that it has been a year since I graduated...

becoming my own...
wow, it has been too long since my last post.
but a lot has been going on lately.
i moved out of my parents house! yipee! i am super excited about the new place. people that have come to visit say that it suits me, and i think it does. i will maybe get some pics up here. my favourite part is the kitchen, i finally have my own little space to cook. i haven't made anything significant yet but very soon.
i also joined my own church. i have never had a strong connection to the church that i grew up in so i decided it was time to find my own place. the assistant pastor at the church is also from normandale, my old church. the first time i went to a service it felt right. its an old place, dating back to the late 1800's and still has all of the fixings of an old church. the services are traditional, just the way i like them. everyone is very welcoming and i am very excited to be a new member there.
and i also feel like i am coming into my own space at work. things are going a lot smoother, i am learning everyday how to work in a small environment of women and adjust my own work habits. i am constantly reminded of the good work being done and am blessed to be a part of it. there are days that i struggle, definitely. but, i can wait through those days because i know that good ones are to come. the ladies are hanging out this weekend at a co-workers house and i am excited to see everyone outside of the work environment.
all of these things are leading to more independence, something i have been waiting for since returning from england. i think i am finally coming back to myself after almost two years of feeling off. oh, feels good to be back. or atleast on my way...
